EP.01 | SUNSET

Kaori Hasebe, an emerging film director, approaches Mahiro Kai, a screenwriter from the same town, to develop a script. The project centers on a 15-year-old case in Sasazuka, where Rikito Tateishi, a reclusive man, murdered his parents and younger sister Sara. The verdict is long settled. Why revisit it now? As Kaori raises the question, Mahiro is drawn into the case—and into the gap between what was concluded and what remains unexplained.
