However he soon learns that Gumball is so gullible that pranks bounce off him./The Wattersons have run out of money and are torn between being broke and selling out./Gumball is jealous when Darwin discovers a hidden musical talent, and he may not be the only one./Ms Simian sets out to "befriend" Gumball in order to win a Favourite Teacher Award./Gumball and Darwin give Mr Robinson a home and end up saving his marriage.

Everyone knows you can never watch just one video on the internet, but Gumball and Darwin think they are the exception to the rule. However the more videos they watch, the looser their grip on reality./Dad has to make the kids on time for their first day back at school. But he's overslept and now he can't find Gumball, Darwin or Anais anywhere. He sets about retracing his steps from the day before, to work out where they might be. When he finally figures out where they are, it's a race against time to rescue them and prove to himself - and Mum - that he's not a bad father./When Bobert finds he's infected with a virus called love.exe he asks Gumball and Darwin to give him a definition for the word 'love'. When they try to explain it through song, it gets him no closer to an answer, so he asks the other residents of Elmore to give their versions of what love means to them./When they find Anais training herself for a brutal showdown, Gumball and Darwin realise that their sister is being pestered at school by an annoying kid: Billy. They try to teach her how to resolve the problem peacefully, but Billy has other ideas./When Anais reveals she's in the grade above them at school, Gumball's and Darwin's eyes are suddenly opened to a whole new world of other students at Elmore Junior High. Gumball is horrified to learn that there are a bunch of characters who are barely aware of his existence and is determined to force his way into their lives.

After being framed for feeding coffee to the squirrels in the park, Gumball proclaims that Mrs Robinson is pure evil. Darwin tells him that there's no such thing as pure evil, and sets out to prove that Mrs Robinson wasn't born evil, she just became that way because of a trauma in her past. But when he learns the true darkness of her nature, he decides she deserves her grand comeuppance.

When Mum and Dad struggle to keep hyperactive, toddler-aged Gumball from trashing the house and exhausting them, they decide to buy him a pet. It works, but there's a problem: every goldfish they get him is short-lived, and inevitably ends up being flushed down the toilet. However, when Dad buys a talking goldfish from a mysterious shop, Gumball meets the best friend he'll ever have.

Via the sewers, Darwin finds himself flushed out to sea. He is terrified but determined to make his way back to the Wattersons. However, a fish can't get very far on land, so Darwin will have to do millions of years of evolution in a matter of hours if he's going to get home safe and sound.

Gumball has, through gritted teeth, prepared a special dinner for Alan, to apologise for the way he has treated him in the past. When Alan cancels, Gumball is overjoyed until a post on Elmore Plus reveals Alan lied about his Mum being sick, and is having a day of fun with his family instead. Gumball tracks down the traitor to give him a piece of his mind, but when he finds out his Mum really is sick he has to find a way to make it up to him.
