Oku-chichibu Trip by Children’s Map

You don't have to go far to find fun things to do. This time, children from Arakawa Nishi Elementary School in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, learned about their hometown and made a large sheet of maps of their favorite and attractive places. The map is hand-drawn with many spots, including a bridge with a beautiful view that they pass every day on their way to school, a hands-on facility that scares them but they want to try when they grow up, and a restaurant serving delicious local food. The three were intrigued by the map, which was meticulously illustrated and accompanied by reasons for recommending the places. With this map in hand, the three of them will tour around Okuchichibu.
